Good morning!

Posting this before bed again, so no writing for me yet. Yesterday I managed ~200 words on one WiP despite fighting a migraine for most of the day; hoping today holds many more words and much less head pain.

How are the words coming for you all today? Or editing, planning, or noodling? :)

(By the way, please let me know if I make a mistake with any of your names! I write these posts in Markdown so I use the @username function for tagging, which means I'm typing each name every day, and, well, typos happen.)

Migraines suck =(

Feb 3rd - 929 words on a challenge fic. I'm juggling writing with cross stitch for Valentine's Day, which is tricky. I need to stitch when I have daylight, but that's when I usually write, so...

they really do, omg. my first one (over a decade ago) landed me in the ER because neither my mom nor myself had any idea what was happening. not my best mother's day gift to her. ^_^;;

after that one i got them a lot, and then they started petering off...yesterday's was my first in a while. i did not appreciate the comeback. XD

that is tricky! are you able to do dictation at all? i've heard of people using dictation for writing and then being able to knit or craft at the same time.

i probably wouldn't be able to do that myself because it would be far too much multitasking for me, but i could see myself doing sprints of writing followed by rows of knitting....

anyway, i hope you're able to figure out a solution. i often find the too-short daylight hours in the winter very frustrating for similar reasons; everything i want to get done needs them!

I had migraines for years, every couple of weeks. Not as bad as a lot of people, but still not good. So glad that stage of my life seems to be over, I hope you'll be migraine free again now.

I can only focus on one thing at a time, but it's okay, it;'s not like I have to write A LOT. I have a 500 word per day minimum to keep myself on track.

I'm taking a break from knitting to get the cross stitch done. If you're going to alternate writing and knitting sprints, you could join us over at my crafting community, get_knitted
