I am VERY much in the love-and-loathe place right now. Today's writing didn't go as well as I would have liked, although I do think it was at least marginally productive. Ah, well! Sometimes the words make you work for them.

And yeah, "moody and restless" can absolutely affect how productive a writing session feels. My usual solution is to work through it anyway -- writing has a tendency to stabilize my mood, most times, even the crappy writing days. I hope you find something that works for you.
