it's 0530 local time as i write this and i haven't slept yet. trust a cold to completely mess up my sense of time. XD

thank you for your well wishes! i really appreciate it. i should know by Monday the results of my test. in the meantime my symptoms have eased up a bit and i think it probably is just a weird cold bug that hit like a truck but then sped off into the night.

going to head to bed in just a bit, but wanted to get the post up sooner rather than later so you would have a spot to check in.

Feb 7th - 978 words. 2 double drabbles, a triple drabble, and some work on a fic I wanted to expand. It worked okay as it was, but I knew it could be better.

haha, I take the cake on weird sleeping schedules -- they started to get more regular in the last 2 years, but getting sick will send me back into old habits. XD I did manage to get some rest.

My sleep schedule is all over the place, and last night's Super Bowl didn't help even though I didn't bother staying up until the end. I should try for an earlier night tonight.

Checking in for the days from the 3rd to the 7th - I've been writing every day. I've been feeling ill since Wednesday but it's better today; hopefully I'll be fully rid of the cptton wool stuffed into my head soon, too.

So sorry you're ill! I hope it clears up quickly, and that the test turns out negative.

I put twelve of the fifteen 3SF ficbits I'd written so far on AO3 (one of the ML ones is probably getting subsumed verbatim into the bigger project I was using the prompt to poke at, and the 3SF RPF just aren't worth archiving), and then I wrote a sixteenth. Which will most likely get wholly incorporated into the said bigger project, with significant rephrasing and expansion.

I edited two more chapters today, including cutting out a good bit from one; it feels more streamlined and like I've gotten rid of some unnecessary scenes.

Feb 7 - 200 words on a double drabble to fill out a set which is one of the last pieces for the SWG NYR challenge. Posted more things. I need to polish and post this set, and then there is just one more set to assemble & post. Should be doable by the 10th.

Wrote on both days 6 and 7, and squeaked a thing in near the end of the posting deadline, although that's really more if an arbitrary date since amnesty begins almost immediately afterward. So I have less writing projects in my plate right now.
