I work night shift for the next 4 days, so in the interest of there actually being a post every day (which will make my little Type-A heart happy when I look at the calendar for this community and see every day is clickable), I'm going to post a really basic check-in post for each day ahead of time. (really basic = all past days tallies up to the 15th, after the 15th might not be fully updated until end of the week; no extra little bit from me.)

I'll date them for the actual day, but they'll show up in your reading pages and inbox a bit early. I'll update the posts with tallies either when I get home from work or before I leave.

(my work hours are 1500 -- 2300 Pacific Time.)

Day 15: 660 words added to my draft, because past me was just okay with having people hanging out in formless voids, talking to mannequin-esque characters who were never actually described. Onward with edits! With any luck, I'll be done by Wednesday or Thursday.

sounds good to me. My day has been low grade anxiety after over 7 hours of ice storming (but my power miraculously staying on so far)

got a lot written tonight 1233 on a Prodigal Son comment fic + 1788 words on the long Prodigal Son story and 501 words on an original short story

Feb 15 - a quatrain as the start of a thing for the Feb Tolkien Short Fanworks prompts. Also posted the single drabble from yesterday to Fan Flashworks.

We've had a series of snow and ice storms here, and consequently spent the night and day without power. I spent it writing five longhand pages while huddled up in my down sleeping bag.

16th: 343 words. I accidentally started an AU, and now I'm wondering how little of it I can get away with writing, while still having it be a satisfying story. ;-)

Feb 15th - 1009 words. 4 double drabbles and some editing on 2 fics.

Dashing in quickly to catch up: on the 14th, I edited my exchange fic and posted it properly, wrote feedback to my own gift, and had a lengthy written discussion with a writing buddy about some story details - I take all of that as "writing happened" for that day. ^^ On the 15th, took out a WIP that needs urgent attention and pocked it back to life. Not more than a sentence or two in new words, but working at a story.
Good idea about the ready-made tally posts for that occasion! I'll keep that in mind in the way you're doing, might come in handy at some point, particularly for WED. ^^
Just in case it didn't occur to you and you might find it useful for another occasion, you could always also edit the date of such a post later if it's mainly about you having the link in your archive calendar (what I can understand very well! :o) ) The only thing to keep in mind is that not using the current date means no notification gets sent out which is important for those who don't use the reading page/friends feed but notifications. My workaround for this has always been to post when I actually got around to it, so notifications get out, and to edit the entry somewhat later to my preferred date.

On the 15th I wrote 1k of fic! The fic will need at least another 2k, I'm sure.

The writing on days 14 and 15 went mostly in the direction of comments and emails and other such things that don't add up to any progress on works, but are necessary parts of holding everything together and building the communities of writers and fans that are there to cheer each other on.
