Or afternoon, as the case may be. No writing for me yet; I'm posting this before crashing into bed to snuggle with my puppy.

Day 2: finished outlining a fic for a Valentine's Day fest, and then did some freewriting while trying to write a flash fic. Some ideas were formed, but then I got distracted...

forming ideas is good! it means they're in the background, turning over, even when you're distracted.

I edited two more chapters of the novel tonight, taking notes for things to remember as I go through it and also about what to do with chapter one, which is less interesting than chapter two but has vital narrative info. I will have to think on how I can punch it up. Anyway, that was my writing for the day. :-)

huzzah editing! good luck on finding ways to punch up chapter 1; i always find that sort of thing a struggle as my brain immediately goes to the surreal and random. "scene vital, but needs more...what if...alien abduction????" ^_^;;

Writing is still going much worse than it should; I'm dragging each sentence out with extreme force. I managed 876 words even so, which is good considering how difficult it is, but bad considering how little of the story it contains. ;op But this is - sadly - also part of my writing process for this kind of fics, so things are still ok? At least I hope.
